Sorry for the lull in posts as of late. I don't know what is wrong with me. I am just so tired. Like walked to the ends of the earth and back.
My eyes are tired. My arms are tired. My brain is tired.
My heart is tired.

So why not sleep you ask. Well that is the most ironic parts of all. I sleep. I sleep deep. But my dreams are deeper.
They are so vivid and so real, I am worn out.
Even when I am asleep, I never really rest.
Nothing really ever rests.

God, I am so tired.

Could I be you, just for a day?

More awesomeness, I know that is not a word, but I feel that at time, images require made-up words.

Oh that Frida..

The end picture I took at a wicked concert as part of the Olmpics here in Vancouver. It was with the ever amazing Ryan Dahle, and Hot Hot Heat.

This photography is some of the most beautiful images I have ever seen.
Like ever.
I was watching an older Fashion Television in the wee hours of the morning yesterday and they did a piece about a photographer, Elle Muliarchyk.

She had done a collaboration with Bella Freud, formally the designer for Biba and the great granddaughter of Sigmund Freud. She wore her designsm and took pictures of herself all over town at night. The result is the most etheral and moving pictures I have ever seen.

She told a story about how a gypsy had read her palms and that she had a double life line, so it meant she would not meet a violent death when she was young, so she felt safe to be out in the wrong places to be in the dark. That didn't stop her from being attacked and mugged while she was out one night. All she could hold onto was her camera around her neck. Eight men attacked her that night. During the struggle, one of the men tried to rip the camera from her hands and it clicked into video and captured a few seconds of her screaming, no.

She would not let go of her camera because she knew there were images on the camera that were so beautiful and could not be lost.

This is what was worth saving, worth the fight.

Like unreal.

See it for yourself. She has an out of this world series in fitting rooms. I will post that next.

I'm still reeling.

Oh Mr. McQueen...
Why would you leave
when you had so much to give, so much more to be seen.
You were the best there have ever been.
There was more for you to do here.

Picture from the Sartorialist, in New York at the Alexander McQueen store.

Some beautiful things, we will never see the likes of again.

Goodbye, Mr. McQueen.

With renovating our first home I am looking at interiors, well I mean I have been looking since I can remember, but for the first time, I feel like I really have a chance to have what I have always wanted.

All photo's from an amazing blog, Design Sponge.

God, I feel like that sometimes.

Is it weird that I have wanted to have this as a tattoo for quite some time now?

I don't know where I read, I just remember reading it, and really, really loving it.

Thank goodness.
For Date night with Scott.
A break was taken, more then well deserved and well earned. My guy took a night off to take me out on a date. We went to our favorite sushi place and went to see a movie.

We saw Avatar in 3-D Digital.
In one word it was.
The story, the graphic, the lights, the sounds, the motions, the lands, the people, the scene, all of this was a dream.

I loved the movie, I think everyone has to see it at least once. It is the movie that lays in your mind as the days pass and reminds of things along the way. This movie stays with you, this movie makes you wish you lived there too.

Do you ever feel like this?

All the while your feet are planted firmly on the ground.

I am trying.
