54

This photography is some of the most beautiful images I have ever seen.
Like ever.
I was watching an older Fashion Television in the wee hours of the morning yesterday and they did a piece about a photographer, Elle Muliarchyk.

She had done a collaboration with Bella Freud, formally the designer for Biba and the great granddaughter of Sigmund Freud. She wore her designsm and took pictures of herself all over town at night. The result is the most etheral and moving pictures I have ever seen.

She told a story about how a gypsy had read her palms and that she had a double life line, so it meant she would not meet a violent death when she was young, so she felt safe to be out in the wrong places to be in the dark. That didn't stop her from being attacked and mugged while she was out one night. All she could hold onto was her camera around her neck. Eight men attacked her that night. During the struggle, one of the men tried to rip the camera from her hands and it clicked into video and captured a few seconds of her screaming, no.

She would not let go of her camera because she knew there were images on the camera that were so beautiful and could not be lost.

This is what was worth saving, worth the fight.

Like unreal.

See it for yourself. She has an out of this world series in fitting rooms. I will post that next.

xx
